8165 1/2HP Chain Drive
The 8165 opener is a 1/2HP chain driven garage door motor, this provides lifting power with a steady run. It has a rugged design but a very reliable performance. Its energy-efficient operation uses only 25% of the usual power on standby mode. Security+ 2.0 protects your household by sending a new code to the opener with each click allowing only you to open the door. The Protector System includes safety sensors that project a light beam causing the door to reverse automatically if anything crosses the door’s opening. PosiLock monitors for any forced opening and locks your garage door. This opener includes a 4-year warranty on the motor and 1-year warranty on parts.

8500 Jack Shaft
This wall mount opener includes a Timer-to-Close automatically closing the door after 1, 5, or ten minutes. The Motion Detecting feature automatically turns the opener’s lights on as you enter the garage and off as you exit it. The Remote Light uses two 100W bulbs (not included) to light any place in the garage of your choice, permitting you to place it were you wish.
